The year is 1996. The place is Washington DC. Why the hell does that matter you ask? Well it was then and there that the love affair between me and Electronic Dance Music began. My friend had just came back from Greece and was telling me how there was this music playing in all of the coffee shops and on all of the radio stations that just blew his mind, so he pulled out a CD he brought back from there and played it. Instantly I felt reborn. From there I decided that I wanted to spread this sound and decided I wanted to DJ. Over the next 4 years I began buying vinyl and mix cd’s/tapes and went to the clubs to study every DJ that played until I finally got a set of 1200’s and began to learn the craft. I guess really it’s the typical story isn’t it? I mean you can almost guess what happens next, can’t you? I learn to spin, I start playing out. I get heard so I get a club gig. 1 club gig turns into 10, 10 to 20, and so on. I have the typical dj’s story. I love to play music for people so I do it as often as possible. I have played in clubs up and down the east coast to crowds as big as 800 people, its really been a dream come true up until this point. Recently I have entered the realm of production which is a lot of fun and hard work and is very rewarding, so soon maybe you’ll see a Steve Synth EP who knows? What I do know is that I love to make people dance and with every party I get to play I do get to spread that sound I love so much, what else can I ask for?
Everyone has one thing thing well, with me, its havin a good time. Whether its on the dance floor tearin it up, or drivin the dance floor with the sound of my House and Breakz. But you wanna know about me, find out anything ya can about Leo's cause thats what Im all about, shower me with attention and I can show you what its like to really live. Life is not an obsticle to overcome but rather an adventure to be enjoyed. So come on and Let Me Take You on A Ride!!
